Collaboration in XR transforms the way users work together by providing an immersive shared environment that facilitates interactive experiences. In a collaborative environment participants can not only see each other’s position in space but observe their gestures or their interactions with shared objects. Ensuring accurate and real time synchronization of user transformations, including position and rotation, as well as precise and consistent visual alignment of virtual objects or shared visualized modalities is crucial for a seamless collaboration.
In context of the SUN project, TSI addresses technical challenges for a smooth and uninterrupted collaboration in XR, designing intuitive visual cues that effectively convey task-related information to all participants.
